Return of Obra Dinn is still the best detective of all time and should be replacing LA noire or sherlock games and it’s the first crime investigation game i can truly completely forgive for the supernatural elements it has, bc unlike ace attorney, which had a history of introducing fancy spn system in mid/late-game, it tells you right away here’s a watch you can dive back in time

but i also dont think it’s as hard as people claim it to be, if there’s a difficulty choice, connecting the dots are tbh on the medium even easier side, it’s only bc detective game would always be a niche game genre with a niche market, so people outside of the genre will always view these type of non-linear game as challenging, while people who’re inside the genre couldn’t be satisfied just from QTE or pressing already existing options like a sherlock/LAnoire/telltale games, and tbh i’d love more reviews coming from people who actually do follow detective genre

MD Mesh Retopology. ZBrush + Blender ( Method 1 / 2 )

mauvemorn

( turn on English subtitles )

  • ZBrush + Blender ( method 1 ) - universal and fast;
  • ZBrush + Blender ( method 2 ) - use when fine details have to be ignored in the process of automatic retopology and preserved through textures instead;

Hello. In this tutorial, I will criticize MD 8′s new Remeshing feature and show how to achieve significantly better results with Zbrush. I’ll explain how to:

  • prepare the garment for ZBrush in MD;
  • set-up ZRemesher to achieve the desired result;
  • transfer UVs using Polygroups and Data transfer;
  • manually edit the resulting topology in Blender ( if needed ).
